This is a tragic story about a fellow employee at SUNY Canton may she rest in peace. It seems like so much misfortune and tragedy is happening around the St.Lawrence counties and its very unfortunate. My condolences go out to the friends and families dealing with these tragedies.
Missing Woman Found Dead
Police said Tuesday night that a missing woman was found dead in St. Lawrence County.
Police said 50 year old Kathryn Latimer and her car were located at approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Trout Lake Area.
Officials said only that she died from a self-inflicted wound.
Latimer didn't report to work Monday morning and her husband reported her missing in the afternoon.
According to police, Latimer reportedly dropped her children off at Canton Central School at approximately 7:45 a.m., called her employer at about 8:30 a.m. and was not heard from again.
